[RELEASED] Bingo Square Patterns and Columns

We’re open to additional patterns if you want them. Please suggest and specify what exactly they are here in this thread.

Yes progressive would be great, added engagement and excitement and makes it a mini challenge series so to speak.

  1. Allow hosts to customize the number of bingos needed before going to the next pattern. Also ensure the UI gives visual cues as to which pattern is active, and next etc.

    • Maybe require players to complete the new pattern using future squares AFTER the pattern is activated like “Columns”. This would add suspense, keep it fair, and could prevent the game from advancing to an end quickly. Maybe give hosts an option to toggle this on or off. “Auto award past bingos when patterns are in use”
  2. I think limiting keeps it fair and inclusive and spreads winning. Helpful if you have certain prizes. If implemented please allow hosts to hide bingo alerts once a player hits their limit.

  3. Yes End the game would be helpful for quick icebreaker get started, giveaways, or just quick sessions.

Thank you. Is there a way that we can have the option to type in what it will say on the bottom.

Here are some of the games we like doing

2 lines anyway
Crazy T
Crazy Kite
Crazy 7
Crazy L

Crazy mean the bingo pattern rotates in 90-degree increments

Those are some suggestions we play all the time

Any more updates on if we are able to create our own game or have a text box to say what we are playing.

Sorry to be a bother on this. Just wanted to see if something like this is an option that we can manually type what game we are playing.

Hi @info4, thanks for checking in!

While there’s not currently a way to customize the text that appears at the bottom of the player’s bingo card, you may be interested in using the Name or Description text fields to input your desired text.

Any updates to the Name or Description occur in real-time, so you can update these settings in real-time and they’ll update across all connected players’ Participant Views. For instance, you can find the Name and Description field on the Experience Dashboard right underneath the Experience’s name, as pictured below.

Thank you for that update. That will work as an option for know. Hopefully it can be setup as a update.
