Hello there! I have a question regarding question displaying. Right now, if I want to look at upcoming content during an experience, I’ll go to the summary tab. However, if I want to skip seamlessly to a question further along in the deck, it becomes a bit clunky, as I have to go into the questions tab, select the drop down of which group of 10 the question I want is in, and in doing so it automatically jumps to the first question in that set, even if the show is paused. Is there a way to go to a specific question without toggling through a bunch of other questions?
For more clarity, my particular use case is running a game show within a set amount of time. Sometimes we don’t get through all the questions. However, the last “question” in the deck is pseudo-one, where we ask “are you ready to help a charity today?” and we provide information on said charity, and use it as a holding slide until we’re ready to announce winners a little later.
I’m happy to report you can definitely jump to a specific question by manually typing in the question’s number under the Active Question section on the Experience Dashboard as displayed below:
Once you’ve pressed “Enter” on your keyboard, this will automatically load the question on the Presentation View and Participant View.
For more information on updating questions, please check out the following page:
I also want to add that our most recent update adds a new behavior for the question tabs on the Experience Dashboard.
Now, the questions tabs do not update the Active Question. Only the Active Question direct input (above), the back and forth buttons, and the keyboard arrow shortcuts will update the Active Question.
This allows you to use the question tabs to look ahead, make edits in real-time, etc. all without affecting the current Active Question of the game or needing to pause. Hope this helps!
