I am looking to make up my own occasional Bingo game and wanted to knwo if there is a way to import/export and save the game. I knwo we can do this in the Trivia section but any way with Bingo.
I don’t think it is possible with bingo games, but it would be a nice feature as I like to host different bingo game themes. A thumbs up from me. It was discussed here, but not sure what the outcome was https://community.crowdpurr.com/t/import-answers-hints-for-quiz-bingo-from-spreadsheet/413/2
Thank you on this post. I see that this was mentioned 3 years ago and many things are being updated. I feel that the Bingo is something they don’t focus on as much as they need to. New games every few months. Would be great to have at least 1 each week or the ability to save our own games. Creating new games take hours at times.
Hi @info4. Saving bingo games to CSV and importing them via CSV is on our list. And indeed, we didn’t update bingo much in the last few years but we have been releasing some solid updates the last few months. And we have a few more updates that we are working on as well.
I’ll report back here when we get the CSV saving/importing released. Thanks for the post.
Thank you I look forward to seeing all the new updates and more focus on the Bingo as well.
I just wanted to update this thread that importing and exporting bingo squares has been released in our latest update. Thank you for your patience!
It’s part of a larger update that you’ll be hearing about, but we wanted to get this out in the wild and start allowing users to benefit from it.
Thank you @RossN. One question in the csv, it list the url for the images. Do the images stay on the server or are they removed. I was wondering if they then existed if reopened a new game, so you didnt need to re upload?
Hi @AquariumDaily, great question!
When importing and exporting self-uploaded images and stock images, these must remain uploaded on an existing experience in your account to re-import correctly. Or, they must be uploaded images originally cloned from a library game.
If you’ve uploaded an image or added a stock image, export it as a CSV spreadsheet, then delete the bingo experience or square image; it will not re-import the uploaded or stock image, as the image will be deleted from Crowdpurr’s servers.
Oppositely, GIFs from the Giphy library do export and import as normal, as they use an external URL from Crowdpurr, so these media never get removed from their original servers.
