[SOLVED] The Philadelphia Eagles - Trivia Library game needs updating

Created by David A. in January 2023, this trivia game needs updating.

For instance, question number 2:

Who did the Eagles defeat in Super Bowl LII, thus far their only NFL championship?

Not only did they win Super Bowl LIX in 2025 but this question is factually incorrect. The franchise also had 3 “NFL championships” in the pre-Super Bowl era.

Question 1 is highly debatable, and not easy to confirm from its wording. Perhaps it was true in 2023 (still debatable) but it was not based on any lasting historical documentation.

The rest still holds up. They’re due a 2nd trivia game. I’ll see if I can try my stab at one.

  • Q1. Which of these teams is considered the Philadelphia Eagles’ oldest rivalry?

    A. New York Giants

  • Q2. Who did the Eagles defeat in Super Bowl LII, earning their first ever NFL championship?

  • A. New England Patriots

We try to write our trivia questions in a way that keeps them “timeless” but sometimes it’s difficult when talking about current events, etc. In that case, we do try to go in and update them.
