Using your trivia "Survivor" format for the gameshow 1% Club

Hello!
As per the topic, I am trying to use the survive format for something new and that is a take off the game show - The 1% Club. The formats are cohesive, but I am finding some difficulties. Could you please tell me what the pixel width x height needs to be for uploaded images for phones? I am not worried about the presentation view being larger but want to make sure any images I upload are able to be seen fully in the participant view, as I have noticed they are different.

In this game format, it requires a video for the explanation, which currently, you only allow picture uploads. I have tried many temp video storage services like Vimeo, google drive, drop box.. etc and your “Question Notes” does seem to like them. If I don’t have a hosting web address for pics, vids, etc.. can you direct me to some service like the ones mentioned that would link to your “Question Notes” or direct me elsewhere?

Appreciate your time!

Hi @c.s.slater, thanks for posting! I’m happy to help.

To address your specific inquiries:

Uploaded Image Sizes: Currently, there are multiple image elements you can upload for trivia games; however, I’m happy to provide the dimensions for the following elements that may also appear on the Participant View:

  • Custom Background (Participant View): 610px x 1080px
  • Custom Logo: 500px x 500px
  • Question Image: 500px x 500px

Question Notes Feature: At this time, the Question Notes does not currently support displaying videos. Currently, this feature does allow you to embed static images by copying and pasting its image address URL.

For more information on how this feature works, please visit the following page:

Question Notes Feature

Please note, Crowdpurr Trivia questions do have the ability to display YouTube videos; however, this feature is designed to appear during the Active Question.

As a workaround, specifically for a Host-Controlled Mode game, you may be interested in using the On-Demand Video feature that allows you to display a video at any time during an Experience, such as after the question. Currently, you can queue up to 10 On-Demand Videos at a time.
