Chat with other team members on the Experience Dashboard?

Hi Ross & Company,
Would it be feasible to add a chat box function within the dashboard to allow me to message my hosts directly, and have the message appear within their dashboards?
The reason I ask is that on more than one occasion, I need to get into my hosts games to change something, or fix an error and it’s quite urgent or timely.
I will text the hosts, but lots of them have their phones on silent.

It would be great to have the ability to send a message, and have it to pop up within the dashboard which would get their immediate attention.

Thanks for all you guys do.

I think this is a great idea.

Copy the above.

We would probably add the ability for hosts to chat with participants, and vice versa, and maybe with other participants (if enabled).

Hadn’t even thought about chatting with other team members on your hosting team. We would probably do the above first.

Hi Ross,
For my business, I don’t see the need for the host to have the ability chat directly to teams or players directly within the game…that may open up a can of worms such as the potential for the host to feed answers to certain teams on the sly.

Furthermore, giving teams the ability to message the host, opens it up to all kinds of badgering and bitching aimed at the host in real time regarding questions/answers, while the host should be focused on the game.
Just my two cents.

My concern is the team leader being able to message the host directly for a concern within the game.
Hope this is something you would consider…
Thanks as always.

I see it as a positive to create greater engagement in the game. I dont see it as a tool to ask questions…do that in person, but a crowd chat simply to pass comments eg, “wow these questions are hard” or “I have never heard of this word” or “I hate sports questions”. As I said, just another opportunity to engage people.
