Correct Answers Flagged as Censored Marked as Incorrect

Why are text input answers that are correct being marked as incorrect, even if they are being flagged by the censor filter? For example, this month the answer to one of the questions was Shining, yet the filter seems to have flagged “Shin” as an offensive term and so everyone who entered the answer correctly was still marked as Incorrect. Last month I had a similar problem with a question where the answer was Japan, but it flagged “Jap” and was awarding no points. Thankfully it didn’t actually change the overall scores for first place in either case, but even if the system flags an answer as censored, it should still be smart enough to know that the answer was correct based on what was entered as the correct answer(s). Please address this.

P.S. - Also, both questions came from the premade quizzes available to select from when creating an experience. I didn’t create these questions myself.

We do Name that tune and have guests do type in Answers. We manually mark them correct if we feel that the answer is correct.

Hi @Justin.Racklin,

We’re sorry to hear about the issue you’re encountering with the Auto-Review Text-Responses setting. We’ll pass your feedback along to the team for review so they can look into how the censor filter is impacting correct answers. We sincerely appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will be sure to report back with any updates from the team.

Hi @jemma,

If it helps, I made a quick quiz to test with some answers that have clear words that you would normally want censored, except they are within completely benign words that shouldn’t be censored, and especially because they were marked as the correct answers from the get go. Let me know if you want me to provide that experience link or if you are able to access it from my account to review on your own. Thank you.
