"Image Based" Trivia Questions

Recently I have noticed many of questions are “image based”. I think this great HOWEVER, I think the games need to be tagged accordingly. If a game is considered “Image Based” I think the entire game should be. But if the question pack is NOT image based there shouldn’t be image based questions in the game. For example: In the World Series Moments game, there are multiple questions that the image must be seen to answer: “What iconic player is seen in a painting here calling his shot in the 1932 World Series?”

Basically Id love to see less image based questions in a non-image based tagged game. This adds alot of time fine combing and rewording questions since we dont use the images in our setup.

Hi @neri. Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it, and appreciate you using Crowdpurr!

The style and mix of trivia question formats in our trivia library games is something that is very intentional and “by design”. Over the last ten years, our user base have come to know, expect, and count on the format of our trivia games, which we think works really well for almost all of our users.

While we understand your use-case sounds a bit different than the average user, at this time, we can’t change our design based on the feedback of a single user.

If others join in on this thread and express the same desires, we’re happy to hear that and make appropriate changes. We feel overall, our user base enjoys the mix of question formats in the trivia library games.

What use-case do you have where you don’t use images in your questions?

By the way, what is your use-case that you don’t want to use image-based questions? Could you elaborate more on that?
