Hey all! Are there any plans to add more settings and features to the lottery system? I have a client who has a no-win list of executives who aren’t allowed to win. I know we can only select to exclude past winners at this point, but is there a way to pull a winner, but not send out the message to the participants? This way, we can re run a lottery if we pull a person who’s not allowed to win, and no one is the wiser. Would love some insight if there’s a current workaround!
I’m going to go ahead and glom on to this and reiterate a request to expand the past winners list to include winners from previous games in multi-game scenarios. It’s truly the one issue that keeps me from using the lottery system.
We have some lottery updates/features in the queue. They include adding specific emails to an Ignore List. Adding past winners in a multi-game scenario is something we’ll look at.
Hi Ross, our corporate clients aren’t comfortable providing emails for the game, can the ignore list include users that we can manually select, or names that can be filled in instead of emails? I understand emails are more unique cases so we don’t get errors.
Emails or phone number is the easiest way. This will be the first iteration. Manually selecting an existing participant will have to come later.
