I’d like to run a trivia game for students in an online class that runs asynchronously.
Using the Fully Automatic mode, is there a way to allow a player to answer the questions without other players playing and let the leaderboard build as all of the players enter their answers?
I want the final leaderboard to accumulate all of the players scores from their individual entries.
You can definitely host an asynchronous trivia game while using the Fully Automatic Mode by enabling the Restart Experience Automatically setting to create a looping game. This setting can be found under the green Settings tab, then Playback & Timing section as displayed below:
Under the Fully Automatic Mode with Restart Experience Automatically enabled, the trivia game will loop around indefinitely. For example, if a trivia game has 10 questions and you have the game set to restart automatically, then the game will loop the same ten questions. Participants will then join in on whatever the current active question is and once they complete all the questions, they will be notified they have finished the game. At the end of the event, you can then stop the trivia game to end the live answering and view the results.
