So, I am using the “Clone” function when creating new games as it keeps my timing and format in place. Is there a way to create a new log on code? If I simply use cloning, the same code is used every week. Previous players have been logging in remotely on trivia night as I discovered the codes never change when cloning. I can build an all-new game weekly but if I could just change the code, it would save me a lot of work. Any thoughts?

If your intent is to prevent participants from playing from home (I do), I set up a new VIP Guest List Field called “Ticket Number.” I prepare enough tickets for my show and upload the ticket list prior to the show. Then I distribute tickets at the venue. This has worked really well for me; before this practice I had a number of players from home, now I have none!

Just to clarify, cloning an experience will result in the cloned experience having a new Experience Code while the original experience will retain the same code. Are you currently witnessing otherwise?
If you’re on the Seminar Plan and higher, you can actually customize the Experience Code completely. (i.e., TRIVIANIGHT, PLAYTRIVIA, etc.) For more information on how this feature works, please visit the following page:

Thank you for the information! Very helpful. I missed the fact the cloning changed the play code. That is the game changer for me! I currently use the “classroom” plan as it nearly fits my needs perfectly. By utilizing the cloning for games, that solves that issue…excellent.
