How do you combat cheating at your venues?

Hi all,
We use a new set of questions per week at all of our venues.
Some venues are relatively close to each other, but on different nights, so from time to time, a team will show up at the second venue and see the same questions.
Some teams will flat out play again and having seen all the questions, they will wipe the floor and win big time.
In the crowdpurr game you can look at the data and see how fast people answered, and of course how many they got correct and these cheaters will answer so many questions in under 5 seconds, and make it very obvious that they cheated.

It would take up too much time to write a new set of questions for each night, every week. We have 5 nights of trivia per week going.
It’s not an epidemic that I would need to do that…yet.

Any suggestions how to combat this issue??
Cheers,
Garry

Hi garry, one idea could be to build a library of quiz question sets that you can rotate between venues. For example, create 6 different sets and use set 1 at venue A, set 2 at venue B, and set 3 at venue C. The following week, rotate the sets so each venue gets a different one.

It’ll take some time initially to build enough sets to cover all your venues, but once you’ve got a good pool, you’d only need to create one new set per week. I know it’s a bit of work upfront, but given that Crowdpurr doesn’t offer participant blocking, this might be the most practical way around it.
