[RELEASED] Possible to have more than 1,000 points per question?

Hi Ross,
Is is possible to increase the maximum points you can assign to a question to more than 1,000?
Here’s why I ask;
We do five rounds in our game and at the start of the timer in each round we have 25 points for round 1, 50 for round 2, 75 for round 3, 100 for round 4 and 200 for round 5. (these points values very very very rarely cause a tie at the end of the game).
We show the scores after Q49, to build anticipation for the final question.
The final question in our game (Q50) we assign 1,000 points…but…
The pickle is that sometimes the team in first place after question 49 is way more than 1,000 points AHEAD of second place, and if we show the scores, it’s a little anti-climatic as the first place team knows they’ve won.

Having a 3,000 or 5,000 point question for the final question, would keep everyone in the game.

Not a biggie by any means but would love to see that added.

Hi @garry. Indeed your request is definitely on my short list of updates but there’s a large billing/payments overhaul that we’ve been working on for several weeks that is blocking this. We’re almost done with the billing overhaul and this will get added right away.

Hi @garry. The billing/payments update still has some considerable amount of work. We needed to get some bugs fixed and I’m happy to report that we included the increased points update in the latest release. Great suggestion!
